December Series Days 28 and 30

I drew "The Castaway" on my day off Monday, and the turtle today, on my other day off.

Both are on 4" x 6" paper, drawn freehand in ink.

December Series Day 16

Today I drew a giant (over 6 inches in diameter) Christmas tree ornament.

Black & White.

I never know if I should color my drawings.

I love the 'Aquarium' setting on my digital camera!

December Series Day 12

Have you ever wondered where that festive maple candy comes from?

Wonder no more:

The magical digestive tracts of vampire elves!

December Series Day 8

Yep, I missed a few days.

Today's offering is based on my retail rant from yesterday. Some shoppers behave horribly in line, loudly griping about the long waits as they shop in DECEMBER, as if they've never done any holiday shopping in their life up until now.

So I "Hulk out" in anger at their rudeness, self-centered airs, and sheer stupidity:

From last night:
A tiny snowman, who doesn't care much for this December rain!

December Series Day 1

I am going to try (during my spare time) to draw something every day in December. Quality not guaranteed!

Today: a giant candy cane.

Microscopic Haunt

I drew this graveyard scene today with my Pigma Micron pens:

Work Doodle

I drew this at work last night with 3 Sharpies and a ball-point pen:

Scarecrow

I did a quick 5-minute scribble of a scarecrow.
I so rarely use pencil, but this is my second one in a week!

Quick Scribble

My niece Helena drew a Halloween piece last night, and this is my version of it soon after:

Sorry for my horrible phone camera & dim lighting!

I'll Be There for You?

A friend & I were talking about the tv show "FRIENDS", and all of the funny scenes, and somehow she had jokingly imagined me dressed as Monica, when that particular character was working at a diner where she served the customers in a big wig, a stuffed bra, and got around on roller skates.

So I drew it:

Get Ready to RAM-ble

This week I felt like drawing a monster warrior, and here is what came out of my pencil & pens over the last few days:

Heaven

I was sitting on lunch break at work today,
and I drew a stylized version of the place I wanted to be instead...

...The family plot on the lake!

Grilling?

Sometimes on Truck Day we grill on the loading dock.

Workplace Scribbles

Instead of reading on my lunch breaks lately, I've been drawing:

Yesterday's "Old Mountain Tunnel"

Today's "Underground Dweller Emerges"

In Like a Lion...

March rushed in with below-freezing temperatures and snow, but the current warming trend is slowly removing this lion's teeth & claws...

Penciled one day, then inked & colored a couple days later.

Final February

I wanted to make sure February didn't pass without a drawing, because I hadn't done much of anything lately.

I drew this sketch of The X-Men's Iceman in  my journal with a blue pen and a couple of colored pencils. Nothing fancy or spectacular, just something to pass the time while I was online earlier in the day...
