Castle & Fields

I've been drawing in a new notebook that I received for my birthday from my parents. Over the last few days I drew this scene of fields, a river and a castle in the distance. Two versions are below (different filters):

I prefer the colors of the green mountain and the field in this one.

I prefer the way the river looks in this shot.

Battlesuit

I drew this battlesuit over the course of a week or so, and I finished coloring it yesterday.

This is one time where the coloring didn't ruin the final product.

Color

As always, I find the colored version of most of my drawings to be a step down...

The power blast isn't bright enough, and the clothing coloring on both figures is muddy.

I drew this ogre last night, and I inked it in the middle of the day today:

The Tawnies

Furry creatures with an unpronounceable name, though it sounds like 'tawnies', which happens to be an approximation of their coloring:

I drew this between sets of a workout, while my cat looked on:

Legion - Finished

I finally colored my drawing of five of my ten favorite members of DC Comics'  Legion of Super-Heroes. The poses aren't incredibly dynamic, but I am happy with my decision to not do any shading.

L to R: Timber Wolf, Polar Boy, Ultra Boy, Phantom Girl, Wildfire.

Axeteer

I was drawing a wizard sometime back in November, and I let the project slide. Today I began repurposing the preliminary outline into my original character Phrixes, an axe-wielding twin.

I'll follow up with progress...

On the Board!

I haven't drawn much in the last few weeks, so here is the first offering for 2017, even if I'm not 100% happy with it:
