Halloween morning scribble (in my journal).

Jack II

A bigger, more elaborate Jack O'Lantern, this time with a creepy bottle gourd getting all up in its personal space (haha). 8.5" x 5.5" with Prismacolor pencils, NicPro black ink pens, and Sharpies. No pencil used.

Jack I

My first real Jack O'Lantern of the season, not counting the one I drew on my hand-drawn calendar for September/October. I posted it on Instagram, and tried their Meta AI feature. It spit out a ridiculously cool looking 3D claymation-style image.

Pattern

Just a random-ish pattern I drew to color.

Dodged It

I drew a robot gyrating wildly to avoid something (an energy blast perhaps? A line drive at a baseball game?). I wanted motion, and I think I pulled it off.

Woman

I felt like drawing a woman's face. Any practice is good practice!

L-Foes

Whenever I draw the Legion of Super-Heroes I try to be as offbeat as possible. Because why not? They have a huge range of power sets and backgrounds, so it's fun to do something creative, instead of just doing a standard group shot drawing. 

So this time I took an old panel from the "Incredible Hulk" comic book, depicting his enemies the U-Foes (picture an evil Fantastic Four), and replaced those characters with Legionnaires who have similar (or as close as possible) powers in the same poses.

Thus: villains X-Ray, Vapor, Ironclad and Vector are replaced respectively by Legion members Sun Boy, Vapor Lass (a renamed Gas Girl in my Legion), Blok and Kid Quantum II. I posted the original comic pnael at the end of this post (Sal Buscema is a longtime favorite artist).

G-Blob and Wizard

It appears that the Gelatinous Blob comes from another dimension, brought here by unsuspecting wizards during random summonings. However, this particular GB has had some willing and purposeful help in order to increase it's local pod...

Gelatinous Blob

A kobold fighting a blob, which is basically a D&D-style Gelatinous Cube, but more mobile. I drew the kobold in a quick scribble way I do from time to time.

Thin Ice

The ice at the lake is thawing, so I drew this and posted it on my Instagram, so that my family would be careful...

Alien Crab

Drawn from a quick glimpse of an alien on the show "Invincible", though that particular creature was more like a little octopus.

New Drawing Pad

The first drawing I did in the pad that accompanied the drawing set that Sarah & Jon & family got me for Christmas. I later added color with a pale light blue colored pencil.

Purple People Eater II

Yesterday I did a redo of an old drawing, a One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater, from an old Instagram challenge. It came out pretty cool, but I still prefer the old one (final photo).
