After a few days of drawing from actual photos I drew this one from out of the air (no photo for reference):

Legion Crowd - Home Stretch

I got a lot more coloring done over the last couple of days, especially Blok (lower right, big stone guy). All that's really left is to figure out the background: either more buildings, a setting sun, or perhaps Mount Fuji (haha).

LD Again

Last night I drew the same woman twice. It's supposed to be Bae Su-Ji (Bae Suzy, from "Doona!" and other shows). Definitely needs work!

More LDs

Last night I drew the same woman (different from the previous post) twice. I'm going to work on faces for awhile, in between my usual super heroes and sword & sorcery drawings.

I think there was improvement as I went.

The drawing to date, with a lot of color added, and a couple of futuristic buildings to set the scene. Detailed inking is next! And perhaps an alien or two (or more members) in the mid-ground.

and Wildfire on the upper right, beneath Lamprey.

Legion Crowd

I'd gone a bit of time without drawing, so I decided to do a big group shot of the Legion of Super-Heroes, something I could add to on a day-to-day basis. Here is my progress from a 7-day run last week, Sunday through Saturday:

Gas Girl and Ferro Lad are drawn with outlines inked.
Sketched in are Polar Boy, Lamprey, Shrinking Violet and Blok.

More ink outlines, with Lightning Lass added to the left of Blok.

Everyone is outlined in ink so far, including the additions of
Invisible Kid II and Sun Boy in the upper left. More to come...
