End of Year Scribble

Last night I drew this grouping of Legion of Super-Heroes members with a ball point pen, and over the course of today I colored it. I plan on drawing a l ot more in the new year, since I basically did nothing for the last 2 months!

Pumpkin Patch

I have to draw at least one pumpkin each Halloween season. 

Here is a protoplasmic alien skulking through a patch of giant pumpkins.

Inktober 2023

It's that time of the year: Inktober! No proclamations, just doing my best to do as many of the 31 days as possible this year.

I didn't know what to draw for Day 1's prompt: DREAM, so I just drew what I felt like, a random ogre, running through the forest in his selvage denim (haha).

Book-Inspired

I've spent the beginning of 2023 rereading the entire run of Alan Dean Foster's "Flinx of the Commonwealth" series. I am almost done "Flinx Transcendant", with "Strange Music" left to go, though I may jump back to the series precursors (the four books that describe the founding of the Humanx Commonwealth) before that final volume.

Tonight before bed I drew a thranx-like creature:

Legion Lounge I

I decided to draw a big group scene of the Legion. I've been slowly working on it while playing online games (DigDig and Elvenar).

As you can see, from top left, across and then down, I've colored: 

Chameleon Boy, Sun Boy, Chameleon Girl,

Braniac 5 and Supergirl.

Warp

A wizard trying to warp space, in order to travel more quickly from place to place...

Legions

Over the last few days I've been drawing a few of "my" Legion of Super Heroes.

• My Ferro Lad is as creator Jim Shooter imagined: of African decent.
• My Invisible Kid II (Jacques Foccart) is the same as created.
• Kid Quantum II is from a later version of the team, but I have her in mine.
• I initially drew Tyroc as well, but he has no truly iconic costume, so for now, he is not part of this grouping.
