Comics Conundrum

Since I refuse to pay four dollars for a 20-page comic book, for the last year or so Nick has been kind enough to use his big ol' discount (with my money) to buy me the monthly "All-New X-Men" from Marvel Comics for three dollars.

However, now that we no longer work in the same building, and a simple hand-over is no longer convenient, he has been gathering a pile of them, and is going to mail them to me at some point. As you can see, anticipation is high:

Waiting patiently for several months' worth...

Translation: "They are on their way!"

Note: Nick drew his first, because I have been bugging him, and I drew mine in response, though the real-life timeline is reversed!

Alien Strut

A silly little alien that sprang from the Boogie Board stylus. He kinda looks like Chameleon Boy from The Legion of Super-Heroes, drawn in a style akin to that of the artist known as Jason.

Blockage

The irony here is that Nick actually did some writing very recently!

Fantastic Boogie

Look, it's the Fantastic Four's old digs, the Baxter Building!
But wait, why is the Silver Surfer racing away...?

Game Over

Now that Easter is over, what does a well-dressed rabbit have to look forward to? The baskets are empty. The chocolate is gone. The unfound eggs are rotting in the tall grass...

This is how we express frustration

Ken and I don't always see eye to eye, contrary to popular belief. And boy, when we don't feelings get pretty...heated.

Stolen Scribbles

The first hour of work was ridiculously quiet. Here is a quick sketch from the timespace between the two customers we had:

Work It

I was on the phone with the "help" desk last night three times from 7 pm to 8pm. This is how I spend my time on 'hold':

Media: Black ball point (top), and then blue sharpie, light blue highlighter, and blue ball point.

And this is what I scribbled out during a couple of minutes during the dead early hour this morning on the large Boogie Board:

It's been a lifelong habit of mine to fill in the gaps of time with random scribbles!

A quick sketch of me as a cyborg for this week's challenge (on a Boogie Board, natch):

First Class-in-Progress

A brief lull allowed me to consider Cyclops, Havok, and Nightcrawler as three of my original X-Men.

Boogie Bored - Robot

Using one of the store's Boogie Boards (a modern-day Etch-A-Sketch) I turned the Brookstone Rover into a robot:
