Stolen Scribbles

The first hour of work was ridiculously quiet. Here is a quick sketch from the timespace between the two customers we had:

Work It

I was on the phone with the "help" desk last night three times from 7 pm to 8pm. This is how I spend my time on 'hold':

And this is what I scribbled out during a couple of minutes during the dead early hour this morning on the large Boogie Board:

 

It's been a lifelong habit of mine to fill in the gaps of time with random scribbles!

Conference Call Notes

I had a regional conference call at work today. Most of the information had already been passed down to us at our district call yesterday, so I had lots of time in between the aural spaces to fill in some visual space:

Drawn with a black ball-point pen, and then colored with the usual highlighter markers near at hand.

Ken's Dark Thoughts

Ken was expressing his dark tendencies with a Thanksgiving metaphor.

Margins

Nick left a pair of head sketches laying around where I could find them. So I photocopied the page and embellished them with a black pen and a few highlighters!

Co-LAB-o

I arrived at work to find a post-it note scribble by Nick: an alien woman's head. So being the collaborative-yet-conscientious fellow I am, I decided to draw a body for the poor creature (while on hold with the help desk), and at the same time leaving Nick's work untouched.

I slapped another post-it note under the woman's neck, drew part of a body, and then attached both yellow squares to a standard sheet of printer paper to have room for the rest of the figure:

 

 

Fast-forward to a later phone call with the same help desk, and I took the time to color the image with a few handy-dandy highlighter markers, thus completing yet another 'lost minutes' creation... Thanks, Nick!
